Renters
Beginning January 7, 2022, the East Baton Rouge Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) application portal will no longer accept new applications. If you have already filed an application but have not yet been contacted by a case manager, your application may still be reviewed to establish eligibility for financing and compliance with funding standards. The present backlog of applications for rental payment and utility bill assistance will be examined until all available cash is spent.
If the City-Parish receives additional funding and is able to reopen the EBR ERAP application portal, an announcement will be made in the local media as well as by email blast.
Despite the fact that the application system is no longer accepting new submissions, we strongly encourage you to complete a needs assessment so that we can better understand how many people in EBR City-Parish still require assistance.
Homeowner
Even though the current resources provided by the US Treasury do not include funding for mortgage assistance for homeowners, we are interested in gathering this information so that if and when the Federal Government provides these resources, we will know the amount of funding required to meet the local demand in EBR Parish.
Landlords
Please answer the questions here to help us determine how many individuals in EBR City-Parish require assistance.
