This program helps low-income households in Brevard County affected by inflation and the high cost of living. It provides financial assistance and housing stability services to eligible households to help them maintain their homes.
Remember that you won’t be eligible for financial assistance if you don’t submit all of the required paperwork.

The Emergency Rental Help Program provides financial assistance and housing stability services to low-income households for rent, rental arrears, utilities and home energy costs, and other housing-related issues.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must be residents of Brevard County
- Applicant’s income is at or below 80% of the Area Median Income.
- The applicant must sign all relevant paperwork (application, social security number waiver, information release/request, etc.), or their application will be rejected/denied.
- Documentation of all household income as recorded on the application’s Household Income Section (include 2 months of bank statements, pay stubs, etc., or a 2020 tax return (IRS Form 1040)).
- The application must account for all members of a household.
- If you are filling out an application by hand, please make sure that your writing is clear and readable.
