The Gilbert Town Council made the decision to apply for COVID-19 relief assistance from the federal government in the amount of $7.7 million through the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021. Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, these funds have to be spent by September 30, 2022, and the purpose of their utilization is to provide Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) services to Gilbert households that are unable to pay their rent or their utilities.

Office days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) is a statewide program that helps Arizona citizens pay for their water and wastewater expenditures. Eligible households can get up to $3,000 in water assistance, depending on their circumstances. Restoration of water service, past-due obligations, and future costs are all covered.

The Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) is a foreclosure-prevention program that is supported by the federal government and provides assistance to Arizona homeowners with low incomes who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of COVID-19. If you are in danger of losing your home, the HAF program may be able to assist you in finding other housing options.
